Very glad about the love for ANIMAL KINGDOM. I think Michod's direction is impeccable, I can't wait to see what else he does.

Haven't seen Mother & Child yet, but it seems you're quite taken with it! I should give it a looksie soon.

yes, Animal Kingdom is quite special. The great casting also helped it a lot.

I guess I was in a very good mood while watching Mother and Child. Naomi Watts was fascinating for sure.

Very high placing for Mother and Child, I'm definitely going to have to try and catch up with that eventually.

Not sure about Toy Story 3 though - would need to watch the first two as well.

Toy Story 3 was for me the less flawed film of the year, for sure. And terribly entertaining.

I myself didn't see the first 2 until last year, but REALLY enjoyed them. very smart.

Mother and Child is a film I enjoyed, even with its "Greek tragedy" moments and the Kerry Washington storyline I didn't care so much about. But the one with Annette and the one with Naomi really had me interested. It's a touching film and it works, if you don't go with big expectations about it.
