Special Oscar edition: Guessing the Winners 7 months (!!!) in advance :)

July 24th
It’s of course too early to tell. But a bit of guessing game didn’t kill anyone. I have nominees prepared for all categories, I’ll just list the winners (and possible nominees just for acting)…

Here goes the crazy:

Best Picture: The Fighter
Best Director: Terrence Malick, for The Tree of Life

Best Actor: Javier Bardem – Biutiful (the other 4 nominees: Robert Duvall, Jeff Bridges, Mark Wahlberg, Johnny Depp)
Best Actress: Nicole Kidman – Rabbit Hole (Annette Bening, Hilary Swank, Natalie Portman, Lesley Manville)
Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale – The Fighter (Ed Harris, Brad Pitt, Sam Rockwell, Jack Nicholson)
Best Supporting Actress: Melissa Leo – The Fighter (Dianne Wiest, Amy Adams, Helena Bonham Carter, Cecile De France)

Best Original Screenplay: The Tree of Life
Best Adapted Screenplay: Love and Other Drugs
Best Cinematography: True Grit
Best Original Score: Inception
Best Original Song: Toy Story 3
Best Art Direction: The Conspirator
Best Costume Design: The King’s Speech
Best Editing: Inception
Best Sound Mixing: Inception
Best Sound Editing: TRON Legacy
Best Visual Effects: Inception
Best Makeup: Alice in Wonderland
Best Animated Feature: Toy Story 3

From the main categories, I am most certain about Christian Bale unless they move him to leading and the least about Melissa Leo.

I hope Nicole gets nominated.

Annete Benning for The KIds Are All Right or for Mother And Child?

Mother and Child couldn't even bring 2 millions in, I think. So I'm taking it out of the picture, as I'd suspect she'd go supporting for this one anyway.

it's the Kids thing with the buzz, even though I am not buying the film for a BP nom. It just looks sooo... light.

you're very optimistic for "the fighter"(i know that the screen tests were very good especially for Bale, Adams and Leo) but pessimistic for "inception"(a very good but overrated movie)
i don't believe in a Bale nod as lead(the movie is Wahlberg's plan) or as supporting role(because he's too crazy/intense/unlikeable guy for Hollywood especially since Bullock's win)
