Oscar predictions - The Acting
Not much to say about it. I said on Twitter I wasn't going to post early predictions this year, but I'm doing it now just for the 4 acting categories (especially since my 1989 post will probably get delayed, I think).
So here they are, in alphabetical order. I'm feeling quite confident about some of them. Predicted winners in blue (no, not in the photos - I work with what I have).

Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby

They'd look like interesting nominations.

Hmm, I'm still iffy on Swank, only because The Homesman's distributor is a new one...and is it wrong that I really want Big Eyes to suck? :\
It seems like we're in for a jam packed year for Best Actor though! So many interesting performances I want to see.
Best Actor is always... interesting, but this time I had a problem putting together 5 of them. I don't really believe Spall will make it because... well, because Sally & Leslie didn't make it, and they were fantastic in their films, so why would a leading man...
:)
Amy Adams' movie is called Big Eyes, not Bright Eyes.
LOL, a Bright Star induced mistake I keep making. :) thx
